how do i change which monitor i am using without unplugging either?
I have a dell dimension 5100 with a 15 screen. i recently bought a samsung 42″ lcd tv. They are in the same room so i bought a hdmi cable to use them both. The problem is if i want to use the pc monitor i have to unplug the samsung. How can i switch from one to the other without unplugging either?
Most newer graphics cards support dual-monitors, so check your graphics card’s control panel to see if it has a dual monitor option (just right-click on the desktop and you should see something like “graphics settings” or “graphics control panel”).
