Samsung TV overheating?

My samsung 40″ LN40A650A Has a ” check fan no. 1″ note on the TV and shuts it self off every 10 minutes. I bought the TV a year ago, and it is and LCD model, so I assumed it would not have any problems for a while. I called the place from which I bought the TV, and they said I would need to call the local mechanic. For this mechanic just to come out and give me a quote is going to cost $90. If you can help me reduce the cost of fixing my TV please let me know.

There has been a lot of similar problems with Samsung model A650′s! You may only need a firmware update(free)! Call Samsung Customer Care at 1-800-SAMSUNG (1-800-726-7864). Make sure that you have your model and serial numbers on hand when you call.
